Since 2011, this old tradition has been revived in Jänschwalde and the surrounding villages. When the sun rises on Easter Sunday, the women are already on their way to the traditional Easter singing. They proclaim the resurrection of Christ with Wendish and German chorales. The women wear their black church costumes.
